This weekend and the next weekend will be the 15th annual Ultra Music Festival that will be held in Miami. For the first time ever it will be a two weekend festival. It first started in 1999 and because of success continued to come back to Miami. The festival is taken placed at Bayfront Park in downtown Miami next to the American Airlines Arena. It was a one-day festival from 1999 to 2006, a two-day festival from 2007 to 2010, and was a three-day festival in 2011 to 2012. In 2012, a record 55,000 people per day attended the festival. This year is expected to have one of the most packed crowds ever. Tickets sold out within 20 minutes and their retail price increased.

On Friday March 8, 2013 the eight grade of Doctors Charter School had their annual dance. The theme for this year was Willy Wonka. Throughout the ballroom at the Miami Shores Country Club was numerous amounts of chocolate and candy products. That was something that the kids really enjoyed! Most of the candy was Willy Wonka products like the giant pixy sticks.The dinner served was pasta with your choice of sauce or chicken strips with delicious fries. Also served was a salad bar. Many songs were played to dance to including sensation song Thrift Shop and a own version of the Harlem Shake. All in all the dance was a great time and memorable night.   

Last Saturday LeBron James had a shoe released of the name “cork”. No doubt this is one of the best all time of his shoe releases. It celebrates the cork popping championship of 2012 in which he won his first NBA title with the Miami Heat. The shoe is phenomenal with amazing detail of a shoe looking like a cork. It is completely different from the rest. Retail price was at a high 305 dollars but later dropped to 250.the only way you could have got them was if you had a raffle ticket and Nike would have sent you an email if you got the shoe to come pick it up at the store.
